Time: 10:30 am
Cost: £8 per person for park and gardens but free for National Trust members. House is £9 extra.
It would be lovely to meet old and new people in this beautiful location where we can enjoy strolling the deer park and gardens and perhaps going for a 5 mile walk in the area or just soaking up the views of the lake and surroundings.
We will meet at the timber yard cafe for tea or coffee at 10:30 am.
Those of us who are up for a short 5 mile walk will leave around 11.30 am.
The walk takes just over 2 hours with mostly good paths and lovely views along the way which means some gentle climbs but we can take our time. Please bring a picnic lunch if you are doing the walk.
Or you may want to have a picnic by the lake if you would like to do that and there are several picnic tables to use. We will meet up together in the afternoon around 2 to 2.30 pm ish.
If you are arriving by train to Disley and would like a lift please let us know and we will coordinate a pick up.
