Did you know? 40% of UK adults are now single? But in churches, this figure is much lower.
It’s a huge demographic change in a short time. But the churches aren't reflecting that picture at all. From around 25 years of age, many single Christians stop attending church — most never to return.
Single Friendly Church Network is on a mission to see all churches become places where single people are welcome and valued.
They encourage churches of all denominations to become Single Friendly by offering resources, training and a guided audit process. They are also building a network of Single Friendly Churches across the country so that all single people can find a local church where they can thrive. Single Friendly Church Network has support from Christian leaders of many denominations and has strong recognition in the Christian media. Their YouTube channel is a good place to hear more about their work from churches and individual Christians.
