The ceilidh costs £7 on the door, to be paid on entry. If you wish to come along, please sign up a.s.a.p. and I will try to reserve you a ticket, (not guaranteed, as they sell out fast).
All ages welcome; male and female.
Beginners are catered for, so don't worry if you've never done Scottish dances before !
[ But note that these dances involve a lot of twirling round, so go easy if you're prone to dizziness. ]
I propose we meet beforehand at Ryan's Bar on the corner of Hope Street and Queensferry Street, Edinburgh, at 8:30pm, for a leisurely 'hello' drink or coffee. Then we'll go to the ceilidh venue; doors open at 9:30pm but there will be a rush for seats, so better to be in the queue a bit earlier (say 9:15 or before). The ceilidh officially ends at 11:30pm, but unofficially it's more often near midnight; but of course you can leave at any time for buses, etc.
