Back by popular demand! Join us for a tour inside the British Museum to discover its Christian history, with social drinks afterwards. This event will be a great opportunity for Christian singles to meet new people and mingle in a relaxed setting.
Please note this is a repeat of last year's tour
Come and discover what the artifacts in the British Museum can tell us about the history of Christianity. We'll be piecing together the biblical story through the vast collection from Bible times, including the Cyrus Cylinder, and plates from which Nehemiah probably served Artaxerxes, King of Persia.
"Travelling from Ur to Ephesus we can catch glimpses in stone of all the major world empires described in scripture, from Assyrian wall carvings to part of a column in Diana’s Temple. At every point the stories of the Bible are told, but always in the light of our stories. In a unique way Keith hopes you will find this informative, spiritually strengthening, and great fun. If you are wondering how 4000 years of Bible history can be covered in a few hours on a Sunday afternoon then there’s only one way to find out!"
After the tour we will go for social drinks at the Starbucks on Great Russell St.
