CC Day Seminar: Single Christians - Life, Love and the Church
Following a successful series of three talks earlier this year, Christian Connection in association with the Bedford Christian Singles Group have invited David Pullinger back for a day seminar on life, love and the church. The seminar will draw from CC's singleness survey and in depth research to discuss singleness and the church and online dating.
This will be both an interactive and inspirational day with practical exercises and opportunities to exchange experiences in breakout groups. This is your chance to be informed, to be inspired and to leave equipped so you can take away ideas that will have a great impact on your church and your life.
Come prepared to talk, share and dream!
The biggest survey on Christian singles in the UK has been completed.
- What's working?
- What isn't working?
- What can we do differently?
What makes great churches and leaders for single people? What do single Christians say about their Church experience and what can we learn from them?
Online dating: How to make it work for you. 1 in 4 marriages are estimated to be the result of online dating. There are reasons why it should work particularly well for Christians. But it can be tricky and confusing. Using the survey and latest research, this session will explain what works best and why.
Join us afterwards for a social evening in a local pub. We've secured a perfect venue nearby, so we can meet up for relaxed informal drinks and icebreakers in the evening. It's free entry for everyone who has booked for the day event, and a small fee for anyone else. It will be a fun way to end the day mingling with other single Christians!
