Special Events Cloverley Hall Weekend Away
Special Events has been going for about 8 years and so far we've run over 20 weekends away, 3 black tie balls and several New Year events.
For our October 2010 weekend away we're going to Cloverley Hall, which is a Christian conference in the countryside near Whitchurch in Shropshire. This venue offers full board accommodation in single, twin and triple/quad rooms, and is surrounded by 9 acres of grounds.
The programme for the weekend will include some relaxed mingling activities, a time of worship, opportunities to use the sports facilities at Cloverley and play tennis/volleyball/boules/football/pool/table tennis etc, and one or two trips out, maybe to go for a walk, visit a local tourist attraction or explore one of the local towns.
This event is open to single Christians in their 30s and 40s; initially there are 45 places available, although this may increase, and we'll be aiming for roughly equal numbers of men and women.
