Join us in Farnham Castle for our Saturday evening ball.
Home for 900 years of the bishops of Winchester, Farnham Castle sits above the historic town just a stones throw away from quaint buildings, narrow streets, cafes and shops.
Put aside any thoughts of draughty, cobweb strewn halls and instead image a stunning Norman Hall (recently modernised in the 1600s!) ready for our Ball.
We will be taking advantage of this special venue with a gentle dancing lesson with our tutor Arnold Steeds. This is a great way for all to mix. Ladies will be encouraged to flutter their eyelashes and the gentlemen to be ...especially gallant!
We know that some of you have enjoyed this style of dancing in the past. Should you happen to have a costume of this era and be looking for an opportunity to don it, then please feel free!
Otherwise, smart evening wear is just fine too...DJ, Black Tie or a smart suit. Ladies, take your ball gown out of its box or slip into that pretty cocktail dress. And then dance away! Optional masks will be provided!
After a break we will resume our dancing ...but bring it up to date with our disco till 1 a.m.

Venue: Farnham Castle, Farnham Surrey GU9 0AG. Travel: Train to Farnham Station (1hr from London) then 10 mins taxi ride to venue. Ample free parking.
